Wenzhou, China, December 25 - A technical delegation from a leading international petroleum company recently visited Huanqiu Valve Group to conduct the final acceptance inspection of a batch of custom-engineered hydrogen-specific valves. The delivery was completed in strict accordance with the technical specifications and contractual schedule.
Due to the highly flammable and explosive nature of hydrogen, these valves are subject to exceptionally stringent requirements in sealing performance and medium control. Manufactured from high-grade materials such as stainless steel and titanium, the hydrogen-specific valves offer superior strength, excellent corrosion resistance, and reliable performance under low-temperature and high-vibration conditions. They incorporate specially designed seat and packing seal structures, and undergo rigorous controls over raw material composition, physical properties, heat treatment, manufacturing, and inspection processes—far exceeding those applied to conventional valves.
To ensure full compliance with both customer expectations and international standards, the two parties agreed to implement an enhanced validation protocol. This included a 22.8 MPa helium sealing test, micro-leakage tests per ISO 15848-1 and ISO 15848-2, non-destructive examinations (UT and PT), hydrogen-induced cracking (HIC) tests, and sulfide stress corrosion cracking (SSC) tests. All inspection items were passed in a single attempt, confirming that the valves fully meet the demanding requirements of their intended service conditions.
Leveraging decades of expertise in valve technology, Huanqiu Valve Group remains committed to supporting the sustainable development of the clean energy industry through comprehensive fluid control solutions—striving to be a trusted and innovative partner for clients worldwide.
