Wenzhou, China, December 12, 2024 - After rigorous evaluation and multi-tier selection, Huanqiu Valve Group has been recognized as part of the second batch of Wenzhou Doctoral Innovation Stations in 2024. As a national-level specialized, sophisticated, and innovative “little giant” enterprise deeply engaged in energy sectors such as thermal power, petroleum and petrochemicals, natural gas, and coal chemical industries, the establishment of the Doctoral Innovation Station will introduce high-end doctoral team resources from universities and research institutions. It will focus on the R&D of core valve technologies for complex working conditions, including high temperature, high pressure, sulfur resistance, erosion resistance, and corrosion resistance, addressing users' needs for high-performance valves in various demanding environments.

In 2022, Huanqiu Valve Group became a postgraduate internship and practice base of the Wenzhou Pump & Valve Engineering Research Institute of Lanzhou University of Technology. The company has also long-term signed a "Technical Development Agreement" with Lanzhou University of Technology. Through joint industry-academia R&D efforts, the company strengthens the integration of industry-academia practice, talent development, and policy resource coordination, injecting sustained innovation momentum into its long-term growth. The Doctoral Innovation Station will further deepen industry-academia collaboration, forming a closed loop of "talent cultivation – technical breakthrough – achievement transformation." This initiative will help the company cultivate technical backbones with practical experience, tackle critical “bottleneck” technological challenges, and promote the substitution of imported high-end valves with domestically produced alternatives.
